I'm back! In record time! With pictures! Go Team Casey!
Two Saturdays ago, my awesome mom and best friend Katie hosted a baby shower for Miss Harper and I. It was a perfect day and they both did an amazing job making everything perfect. They decorated with lots of fun colors and yummy food. We also bought 8 different flavors of cupcakes from a local bakery and it was so much fun just trying them all out and sharing everyone's opinions of the flavor they chose. Most of our guests were from out of town as well so it made the day feel that much more special having everyone together. Harper scored big and we are feeling so much more prepared for her to be here thanks to all of our family and friends. The nursery is starting to really take shape now and I can't wait to share the finished project with all of you! I already love just sitting in her room daydreaming about our little princess.

This past weekend Travis surprised me with concert tickets to see my
favorite singer, Jason Mraz. His show was at an outdoor amphitheater
right on the Columbia river simply called, "The Gorge". It's a very
famous location in the whole pacific northwest as it's so unique and a
lot of big name artists come to play there. It was the first time Travis
or I had been there, and Harper's too! The show was amazing and we had
such a great time. Miss Harper is most definitely going to be a dancer
because she was moving and grooving throughout the entire show. This
coming weekend we are going to see Oregon vs. Washington State. We'll
see if she's as into football as she is into music. I'm sure her daddy
has his fingers crossed.

As you can see from the pictures, Harper and I are definitely growing. It's getting quite uncomfortable just doing everyday things so I'm hoping the next few weeks go by quickly. This past week we had to make an "emergency" visit to the Dr. as my "sausage toes" reached an all time high to the point where it was very painful and the nurse warned that something more serious could be going on. Thankfully, it was just normal pregnant lady swelling and with a little extra rest, it's getting better. While we were at the Dr. they put a monitor on my belly to track Harper's heartbeat and movement. When the nurse looked at the readings she said, "Wow! That is a very happy baby!" because of how much much she moves. Although I already knew she was a wild girl, it was nice to see that she's enjoying herself in there!
Well, that's all for now! Be expecting photos of her finished nursery and some ducked out belly pics as well very soon!
